i'm getting another blood test done tomorrow at a private clinic because the public hospital is known for fucking up a lot ((example a. they gave me someone else's patient number TWICE, on different occassions)) and if my iron is in fact not that low, i am stopping the iron supplements immediately because it is not worth the stomach pain and nausea

#got multiple opinions #all of them said i should be having trouble getting out of bed on my own if it's accurate #had to politely inform them that i had walked 5km to the hospital to get my lab results and then went on a 10km walk with my brother #in the same day cause we felt like it #actually tho the iron supplement my mom got me...#feels like it's burning a hole through my esophagus #it's called tot'hema and it's in liquid form and it's apparently the fastest working one for severe cases like this #however #i would rather die a slow death from anemia than continue taking these #it tastes like a soft drink we have here called 'Gazoza' mixed with pennies and somebody cut their finger while preparing it #just tastes like juice with a hint of blood #it's disgusting #and the nausea straight after taking them is unbearable #but the worst so far has been the stomach pain #that i thought i wouldn't get this time because i've been taking these for a few days atp and i felt nothing until a few hours ago #when the excruciating stomach pain started #okay im being dramating #but it feels like i know exactly where every intestine is at any given moment #it's all cramping #almost as if you shouldn't be ingesting this much raw iron at once #basically eating a handfull of scews anytime i take these
